Hi folks. Well 2015 is under way! Just a reminder that were open all winter for Wild walks and Sea Angling.
The fly fishing season opens on February 10th for Salmon and Sea Trout and for Brown Trout on March 10th
2015 is already looking busy for us, so don’t delay, call or email today! Hey I’m a poet and didn’t even know it!!
Tuesday 11th of February saw the start of the 2014 Salmon fishing season on Skye. It was very cold, but not deterred there were 14 rods on the Snizort. One fish of 4lb was caught and a few were lost. I lost one on beat 12…I’m putting this down to early season nerves!
There are still plenty of visitors at the moment on Skye. Quite a glorious week weather wise has had me up and down the hills and onto the shore looking for new sea fishing marks. We are now offering sea angling as well as many different wild walks to suit all abilities. And there is 20% off the regular tariff until March 1st 2014. Bookings are coming in fast for next year, so don’t leave it too long to book. In the mean time if your coming to Skye this winter there are lots of things to do and see. Just give me a call….
Oh well! That’s the Salmon fishing season finished today. And a bit of an Indian summer means no fishing since last week. Never mind there’s always next season which opens on February 10th. So now were onto the winter activities of sea fishing and photo stalking as well as my ever popular wild walks.
As we head toward the end of the Salmon fly fishing season. Things are hotting up. We spotted quite a few Salmon and Sea trout jumping the falls yesterday. The thing is…so did something else! We were graced by the presence of beauty…an Otter.
